Activities
There are a wide range of activities for you to enjoy in St Ives starting with surfing and diving. On the north coast of the town, Porthmeor Beach is generally regarded as offering the best surfing conditions in St Ives. It's superb for family groups too, there's also a full lifeguard service all through summer. There is also an excellent beach cafe/restaurant at Porthmeor which is situated just in front of the Tate Gallery.
St Ives also has a diving club which offer a range of activities including Boat Diving and Snorkelling trips
St Ives has two breathtaking golf courses the first one, Tregenna Castle Hotel Golf Course is set in the magnificent grounds of the Tregenna Castle Hotel. The second West Cornwall Golf Club is a true Links course and is the oldest Club in Cornwall with spectacular views overlooking St Ives Bay.
